Business Analyst

Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience in Financial Services industry working in a project role. A good working knowledge of Credit Risk coupled with BASEL II compliance would be a distinct advantage.

Job Description:
This is an exciting Business Analysis role. The primary duty for the Business Analyst will to become a 'subject matter expert' on a market leading, BASEL II compliant, credit risk system. The system serves a country wide user community of in excess of 800 users and is responsible for managing the end to end credit process for our Client. The system is evolving as the Market evolves and is a true Market leader. The business Analyst will report to the CCH SWORD project manager. This is a key role and will require the Business Analyst to develop a detailed understanding of the system, develop testing strategies, write test cases, challenge decisions, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), raise and track resolution of system issues, and track project progress.

Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of documentation -: Functional/Requirements Specifications
Identification of changes/additions resulting from new version of system
Identification of Clean-up/Implementation Tasks necessary as a result of changes/additions identified
Leading and participation in user-forum meetings (interacting with users)
Leading UAT - Writing scripts, supporting testers, executing test scripts, documenting results
Documenting project progress regularly for project meetings

The key competencies for this role are:
Knowledge of Financial Services 'Credit Process'
Knowledge of Basel II Compliance issues that refer to credit processing
Problem Investigation & Problem Resolution
Very strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
Team worker in a project environment

Sword Consultant

Experience:
2-3 Years experience in Financial Services industry, experience of SoX, Internal Audit, Compliance and/or Operational Risk a distinct advantage.

Job Description:
This is a consultant role related to CCH SWORD's award winning Operational Risk product ‚Äì SWORD. The candidate will be required to understand and assist in the development of the clients Operation Risk Framework and the translation and implementation of that Framework onto Sword.  They will take responsibility for analyzing and specifying any gaps between requirements and the product and will be involved in the delivery of those gaps. 

As a SWORD consultant you will be dealing with senior client management as well as operational staff, both business and technical.  You will be expected to understand the Clients requirements and objectives and manage both client and internal resource to meet those objectives through product configuration and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
Product implementation at client site
Ensure Customer Satisfaction
Fully understand the Sword Product

The key competencies for this role are:
Understanding of the Financial Services Industry
Good Understanding of Sox, Internal Audit, Compliance and/or Operational Risk in Financial Institutions
Project Management Skills
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
Problem Investigation & Problem Resolution
Leadership skills
Team Working
Structured Analysis and Design experience would be an advantage

Experience:
Practical and demonstrable experience of the test life cycle, which would involve experience of integration, system, regression, boundary, negative user  acceptance, stress, performance and scalability and localised product testing, experience of Financial Services or Software industry a distinct advantage, appropriate 3rd level qualification.

Job Description:
Input into the production of test documentation for the SWORD product (including plans and cases.)  Produce and execute test plans for all releases and patches of SWORD.  Produce and track bug reports as necessary.  Liaise with Customer Support team to analyse and track external (Customer) reported bugs.   Liaise with Development team on bug status and release status. 

Key Responsibilities:
Understand Sword Functional & Business Requirements.
Produce Test Plans and Cases for SWORD.
Execute Test Plans and Cases.
Produce Bug Reports etc.
Report to senior management on Release Status.
Report to senior management on Quality Improvement Process.
Identify potential improvement opportunities.

The key competencies for this role are:
Understand Functional Requirements.
Ability to identify and analyse bugs.
Knowledge of Internationally recognised test standards.
Experience of web testing.
SQL Knowledge.
Excellent communication skills (both written & Verbal).
Team Player.

The minimum requirements for this role are:
University Degree in Computer Science or other Numerate Degree.
Min 2 years experience including Web Testing
Strong SQL
Fluent English
